With a background in architecture, planning, and real estate, Brooke is on an eternal quest for the perfect balance of form and function. She believes the only acceptable solutions are those which both work and present well -- or as she likes to say, why have cake if you can't eat it, too?
Detail-oriented with an empathetic soul, Brooke connects with clients and team members by placing herself in their proverbial shoes to determine needs versus wants and how to achieve both.
Having lived in various parts of the state for most of her life, Brooke has made herself at home on the west coast of Florida. She enjoys spending time with her husband + their fur babies, cooking, traveling, and perfecting other languages, specifically, sarcasm and emoji. Other hobbies? Surprise...all things related to architecture and graphic design!
Brooke founded DAWSON+PRADEL DESIGN in 2015 to provide a creative outlet for her wide variety of planning + design skills. With a passion for supporting small businesses and helping startups get off the ground, she utilizes her business management training to make a positive contribution to her local community. A true believer in collaboration over competition, Brooke will offer guidance and support from initial strategic planning to the final outcome, regardless of your project budget, size, or scope. A resident of Miami since he was eight months old, Eddie embraces his vibrant home in South Florida + loves spending time outdoors with friends + family, particularly his beautiful daughter Emma. During football season, you'll find him cheering on the Miami Dolphins. That's OK, we try to maintain a judgment-free zone!
